The Behavioral Health & Wellness Program (BHWP) on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus successfully applied for a grant to bring the RAISE Families for Health Program to Larimer County. The program’s goal is to increase health equity and build family resilience by providing training and ongoing technical assistance to two agencies on the RAISE Families for Health curriculum- The Matthews House and The Center for Family Outreach. RAISE offers at-risk caregivers strategies for behavior change including coping with stress, healthy sleep, healthy eating, physical activity, and tobacco-free environments. This will be accomplished by:
- Training agency staff on the RAISE Families for Health manualized curriculum;
- Rolling out this 8-week curriculum to at-risk caregivers in 2021
- Tracking realistic program outcomes
