Wednesday, May 20, 2020 | 11am-12pm MDT

Health Links is a nonprofit based in the Center for Health, Work & Environment at the Colorado School of Public Health.

A culture of mental wellness demands both individual commitment and organizational support. One of the best ways to assist co-workers is to attend to your personal work and well-being. No matter your schedule or competing demands, there are practical tools you can utilize to maintain mental wellness. Leaders and employees who invest in their own self-care are the best positioned to assist others in the workplace.

In this *free* webinar, Dr. Chad Morris, the Director of the University of Colorado- Behavioral Health & Wellness Program, will share proven strategies for supporting whole health, with a focus on mental wellness. He will describe a parallel process by which leaders and workers can attend to their own well-being and, at the same time, assist colleagues who may be struggling with or at risk for mental health issues.

Target Audience:

This webinar is intended for any individuals interested in strengthening their own wellbeing, while also helping to build a culture of mutual support in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review strategies for assessing personal wellness, identifying health coping skills, and strengthening a culture of mental wellness.
  • Learn tips for starting crucial conversations that facilitate mutual mental health support in the workplace.
  • Review and apply mental health strategies from model employers in the Health Links network.
