National Council Webinar on Cancer Prevention for People with Behavioral Health Conditions

Please join the National Council for Behavioral Health for a webinar on the importance of providing cancer prevention services to people with mental illnesses and addictions.

“New research shows that individuals with serious mental illnesses have poorer outcomes relative to the general population following a diagnosis of cancer. This indicates the importance of providing integrated care to patients once they have been diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, individuals with behavioral health disorders are often reluctant to discuss their behavioral health issues with their primary care providers and other medical specialists.”

The webinar will be held Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 11:30-1:00pm MST. Click here for more information and to register.
