FDA Releases Infographic for Latest National Youth Tobacco Survey Findings

Each year the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) conduct the National Youth Tobacco Survey – the only nationally representative survey of middle and high school students that focuses exclusively on tobacco use. The 2014 results were compiled into an infographic. One of the most troubling findings reported is the increase of e-cigarette use by this population. They are reporting an 800% increase in e-cigarette use by high school students from 2011 to 2014 and an estimated 2.4 million students currently using e-cigarettes.
