Colorado Reviewing Proposal to Raise Tobacco Purchasing Age to 21

The Colorado legislature is reviewing a proposal that would raise the tobacco purchasing age from 18 to 21. If the measure goes through, Colorado would be the first state to implement such a radical restriction on tobacco use. The proposal is being reviewed by the House Health, Insurance, and Environment Committee on Thursday, February 20.
